Dear Science Teachers and Leaders,

Please mark your calendar and attend, and encourage your science teaching colleagues to attend, the upcoming Science Professional Learning Community sessions as listed on the attached flyers. Note that they say that it doesn't have to be the same person every time, so it's not intended to take any one person out of school an inordinate amount of time. These were done last year in another feeder pattern and where highly productive--I highly recommend it to everyone.

The Planetarium Trip - its that time again!

6th grade teachers -

The Planetarium only holds 120 students per trip.
Programs begin at 9:30 and 12:30 - be on time!
Students will be divided up by periods so as to not disrupt schedules.

- Travel dates:

11/06/08 Thursday -

9:00am - 88 students

- AM classes meet in foyer when buses arrive

o Adjusted lunch time:

o 2 regular buses

o Administrators:

12:00pm - 88 students

- PM Classes Meet in foyer @ 11:50, should leave at 12:00

o No adjusted lunch time needed

o 2 regular buses, 1 SPED bus

o Administrators:

11/07/08 Friday

9:00am - 88 students

- AM classes Meet in foyer @ 8:45, should leave at 9:00

o Will need to eat when they return at 11:30am

o 2 buses

o Administrators:

12:00pm - 88 students

- PM classes Meet in foyer @ 11:50, should leave at 12:00
